Keenan Kimetto worked as a Camera Production Assistant on the Apple TV+ Production “Spirited” in Boston. He was brought in through GEI during the summer, where he was able to learn all about the different positions within the camera department. It was his first time on-set, which made it a growing experience for him as he balanced speed and accuracy, while working alongside Camera Operators, Directors, Producers, Cast, and numerous department heads. During production, he was also promoted to being an additional Digital Utility. This led to even more on-set opportunities once production wrapped, allowing him to build on his knowledge of the camera department. Since then, Keenan has worked on a documentary by COMPLEX for legendary Celtics player Bob Cousy as a 2nd Camera Assistant. He is currently working as a Digital Utility on a Whitney Houston film called “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” focusing on the story of her life.
