Jennie Ekpa
International Programming and Development Assistant at AMC Networks
Jennie Ekpa has been a GEI participant since 2019. As a part of the program, she has had the opportunity to intern at Powderkeg Media, Comedy Central, FilmNation, and NBC Entertainment, exposing her to various aspects of the entertainment industry, including film and television development and casting. With the support and guidance of GEI, she recently landed a role as an Assistant in AMC Networks International Programming and Development Department. Jennie’s long-term goal is to work in television development, where she plans to uplift the voices and stories of people from her community.
