Edith Jimenez
Production Assistant on ABC’s “Black-Ish” Season 8
Edith Jimenez is a Pacoima-based, first-generation Chicana with a B.A in Multimedia Production from California State University, Northridge. Edith started her career in entertainment by working at a movie theater in Sherman Oaks and editing movie trailers at Adler & Associate Entertainment, when she first came across GEI at the end of 2018. With the career-changing resources GEI provided her, Edith was able to accelerate her career in the right direction. Since her involvement with GEI, Edith has worked on notable shows such as Season 3 of Freeform’s Good Trouble, FOX’s American Crime Story: Impeachment, and the final season of ABC’s Black-Ish.
Even though Edith’s professional career is just getting started, she hopes to become an executive at her own reputable entertainment company, and consult for movies on the side. She aspires to give back to her community by teaching at-risk youth how to tell their own stories through writing and film.
