    Group Effort was excited to offer participants an exclusive event with talent management company, Entertainment 360. Participants received personalized resume feedback, met with the Head of HR, and learned about their talent/literary management and production work!

  • Group Effort x AMC Networks

    In collaboration with AMC, Group Effort co-hosted an in-person info session about different career paths at AMC, including internships and how to work your way from entry-level careers into mid-level careers, and will include information about how companies often recruit for these roles and advice and best practices for those who are starting out in their career. This was  great opportunity to connect with AMC Network's Talent Acquisition team before their summer internship applications release and to gain insight on what AMCN specifically looks for in entry-level and mid-level candidates.

  • Group Effort x FuboTV

    In collaboration with FuboTV, Group Effort co-hosted an in-person info session in New York about different career paths at FuboTV and transferable skills. Panelists included Director of Talent Acquisition, Director of Marketing Operations, Sr. Director of Marketing, VP of Ad Sales, Director of Communications, and VP of Business Development.

  • Group Effort x Maximum Effort Productions x WME

    Attendees learned how television series are made, from idea to script to screen. Panelists included the Head of Television at Maximum Effort , a WME Agent for Non-Scripted Television, WME Co-Head of Scripted Television, and the Executive Director of Literary Scouting at FOX Entertainment. Following the event, attendees networked with the panelists and WME staff. Thank you to WME for hosting us in NYC!

  • Group Effort x Sony Pictures Television Nonfiction

    Sony Pictures Television Nonfiction provided an overview of nonfiction development and introduced their development pods, which have developed iconic shows like 90 Day Fiancé, Love After Lockup, and American Idol. Afterwards, attendees sharpened their interview skills with a mock interview session!

  • Samson Stages Commercial Production Event

    Group Effort participants visited Samson Stages in Brooklyn for the inside scoop on all things commercial production - camera-to-cloud technology, costume design, props, post-production, unions for commercial production professionals, and more!

  • Rare Breeds Arri Alexa Prep Class

    Rare Breeds Rental House and union AC Seth Craven hosted an Arri Alexa camera build and prep training for our participants.

  • Matthews Grip Tour (LA)

    Matthews Grip opened its doors to participants, who were able to see the ins and outs of the most popular and versatile grip equipment in the entertainment industry. Seeing equipment go from raw materials to fine tuned and set ready, Matthews walked participants through the use and mindset behind some of the most important pieces of grip equipment.

  • Mentorship Day Event with Dark Slope Studios (Canada)

    Group Effort Initiative and Dark Slope hosted a full-day, in-person mentorship session focused on careers in Virtual Production. This experience was designed to give participants real-world exposure to the tools, workflows, and roles shaping the future of production. Led by industry experts working at the forefront of virtual production, this session includes technical presentations, creative role breakdowns, and a hands-on opportunity to work on a live virtual production scene.

  • Titmouse Animation Event (LA)

    Group Effort invited participants to an exclusive in-studio event at Titmouse, a leading independent animation studio. This session was designed for individuals interested in exploring career paths in animation and gaining a behind-the-scenes look at how a professional animation studio operates. The event included a presentation on careers in animation, insights from a member of the Titmouse creative and production team, and the opportunity to hear from studio leadership.
