• Group Effort x C3 Management

    Group Effort co-hosted a virtual event with C3 Management. C3 introduced their work as artists managers, as well as some of the other fields in the music industry that they are adjacent to, and some of the soft/hard skills needed for this line of work. They also touched on the different ways the music industry and film industry intersect.

  • 2025 EEA Expo

    The EEA Careers in Entertainment Expo brought together 1400+ young adults, high school, and college students to learn about Arts, Media, and Entertainment careers. 

  • Rare Breeds Arri Alexa Prep Class

    Rare Breeds Rental House and union AC Seth Craven hosted an Arri Alexa camera build and prep training for our participants.

  • Local 600 Info Session

    This info session went over the path to joining the Local 600 Camera Union as a member within a few years of working as a PA. This session helped participants understand the benefits of being a union member and specific information about Local 600 and what crafts they cover. 

  • Group Effort 2025 Annual Bootcamp

    In its eighth year, Group Effort's Annual Bootcamp is a daylong workshop that provides targeted professional development trainings and workshops, company partner panels and guest speakers, and networking opportunities for our participants.

  • June Mentorship Launch

    Group Effort will provide a program overview, facilitate mentor and mentee training, and outline program goals.

  • Q2 Participant Orientation

    In this virtual session, participants have a chance to meet our staff, learn what it means to be in Group Effort, how our corporate/creative and on-set production submission processes works, and how to connect further with our team to best help prepare them for their job/internship search.

    We shared updates on Group Effort's recruitment needs for this quarter as well and the best ways organizations can partner with Group Effort as a talent pipeline partner.

  • Matthews Grip Tour (LA)

    Matthews Grip opened its doors to participants, who were able to see the ins and outs of the most popular and versatile grip equipment in the entertainment industry. Seeing equipment go from raw materials to fine tuned and set ready, Matthews walked participants through the use and mindset behind some of the most important pieces of grip equipment.

  • Disney Breaking In Panel (LA)

    Group Effort and Disney hosted a moderated panel and Q&A featuring professionals from both corporate and production areas at Disney. This session explored how hiring works across the company, what recruiters and managers look for in candidates, and tips for standing out.
