Our Participants

Kiara González Durán joined GEI during her senior year at UCLA while double majoring in International Development Studies and Chicano Studies. Following her first entertainment internship at MACRO, Kiara landed internships at UNCMMN and CAA through GEI, the latter of which educated her on media representation of BIPOC narratives within domestic and global contexts. Post-graduation, Kiara worked as a Business Affairs Assistant at Endeavor Content, before transitioning to her current job at CAA to become an assistant in the International Scripted Television Department. She is working toward a career as a television producer for Latin American content and looks forward to empowering women around the world throughout her personal and professional path.
