Ryan Murphy’s The HALF Initiative and GEI will co-host a virtual two-part camera and cinematography workshop led by industry professionals that have worked on various TV shows (9-1-1, Scream Queens, American Horror Story, Glee) and films (Memento, The Italian Job).
Part one will be a panel discussion focusing on topics like breaking down scenes, different camera department roles on set, working with directors to prep and shoot scenes, and more. At the end of the first session, attendees will be assigned groups to work together on a creative assignment to present during the second session. In part two, panelists will provide direct feedback to each group on their presentation.
