Our Participants

Joanne Yue is a San Diego native and UC Santa Barbara alum with a double major in Film & Media Studies and Environmental Studies. Passionate about physical production, she has worked on numerous scripted and documentary projects in various roles. Through GEI, she became a Production Trainee on “Bullet Train” and had the opportunity to work with background and cast. While completing her cast duties, she collaborated with many departments like visual effects, publicity, and stunts. She learned so much from this exceptional crew and carried this knowledge to her current position in Physical Production at Lionsgate TV. She enjoys working in production from the studio side and looks forward to returning to set one day as a Producer-Director hyphenate.
