Our Participants

Diana Balbuena has been a GEI participant since the Fall of 2019. As part of GEI, she has had the opportunity to intern at the Los Angeles Mayor’s Fund, Music Forward Foundation, and the Group Effort Initiative. Interning at these three different locations has introduced her to the different aspects of human resources and the behind-the-scenes work of a company. Thanks to the mentorship and guidance of GEI, Diana is confident she will land a full-time job in Human Resources or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives in the entertainment industry after graduation. Diana hopes to help others through her work and help minorities make it in the entertainment industry.
