Q&A with Producer Lee Eisenberg

GEI will host a moderated Q&A with Producer Lee Eisenberg (Apple TV+ Little America) for participants to learn more about Lee’s career journey and gain insight on invaluable skills to have in the entertainment industry. The event will be Tuesday, July 12 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM PST via Zoom.

GEI x Lionsgate – Women Behind Wick

This panel will feature executives and industry professionals who worked on the John Wick film series and provide insight into their career journeys and share advice for those entering the industry.

Deadpool & Wolverine Marketing Event

GEI was excited to offer participants a behind-the-scenes look at the marketing and publicity campaigns behind Deadpool and Wolverine. The event also included a panel on Maximum Effort Productions that touched on development and production in the company.

GEI x FuboTV

In collaboration with FuboTV, GEI co-hosted an in-person info session in New York about different career paths at FuboTV and transferable skills. Panelists included Director of Talent Acquisition, Director of Marketing Operations, Sr. Director of Marketing, VP of Ad Sales, Director of Communications, and VP of Business Development.

GEI x Sony Pictures Television Nonfiction

Sony Pictures Television Nonfiction provided an overview of nonfiction development and introduced their development pods, which have developed iconic shows like 90 Day Fiancé, Love After Lockup, and American Idol. Afterwards, attendees sharpened their interview skills with a mock interview session!

GEI x C3 Management

GEI co-hosted a virtual event with C3 Management. C3 introduced their work as artists managers, as well as some of the other fields in the music industry that they are adjacent to, and some of the soft/hard skills needed for this line of work. They also touched on the different ways the music industry and film industry intersect.

Local 600 Info Session

This info session went over the path to joining the Local 600 Camera Union as a member within a few years of working as a PA. This session helped participants understand the benefits of being a union member and specific information about Local 600 and what crafts they cover.
