• Group Effort x Management 360: Interview Skills Workshop

    Group Effort will host an Interview Skills Zoom Workshop with Management 360 for participants to refine their interview skills. The session will feature invaluable information on how to land a mailroom position, as well as other entry-level/internship roles in entertainment. Following the Q&A, attendees will be put into pre-assigned breakout rooms with representatives from Management 360 or Group Effort for mock interviews. The event will be Wednesday, February 23 from 5:30 PM to 6:40 PM PST via Zoom.

  • Group Effort Annual Bootcamp

    This full-day event will provide targeted professional development training, networking opportunities, and panel discussions with industry professionals, guest speakers, and Group Effort alumni. The event will be on Saturday, June 25 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PT, both in-person in Los Angeles and virtually through Hopin.

  • Disney Site Visit

    Group Effort will be co-hosting an in-person event with the Disney Professional Internship Program and Disney Campus Recruitment team. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a resume and interview skills workshop as well as listen to a panel of Disney Emerging Talent that will include Interns & Entry-Level Employees.  This in-person site visit will take place on Wednesday, August 17 from 1 PM - 3:30 PM.

  • Group Effort Resume Workshop

    The Group Effort team will be leading a resume workshop for participants interested in receiving tips and tricks on how to polish their resume.

  • Half Initiative Production Job Readiness Workshop

    Group Effort will be co-hosting a virtual production assistant training session with Ryan Murphy's Half Initiative Production Assistant Intensive Program. The training will have former Half Initiative trainees share advice about what skills you need as a PA and what the day-to-day production experience is like.

  • Group Effort Orientation and Resume Workshop

    Group Effort will be hosting a virtual Orientation and Resume Workshop for new participants. Participants will have the opportunity to learn tips and tricks on how to improve their resume as well as engage in peer-to-peer feedback through breakout sessions. During orientation, participants will hear from the Group Effort team about program offerings and how to prepare for the job search process.

  • Group Effort x Sony Pictures TV Nonfiction NYC Event

    Group Effort will be co-hosting an in-person event with the Sony Pictures Television - Nonfiction (SPTN) team at their New York City offices. Speakers will share their experiences working in nonfiction entertainment, including their career journeys and their current day-to-day responsibilities at their respective companies. Following the panel, attendees will participate in a professional development workshop and group networking sessions with representatives from the company.
