What is Group Effort?

The Group Effort exists to create a pipeline for members of underrepresented communities to get real experience towards lasting careers within the entertainment industry.

Are there any restrictions to be considered for Group Effort? (age, experience, etc.)

Group Effort welcomes individuals that are age 18 and over with varying experience levels to apply for the program.

Does Group Effort guarantee a job placement?

On both the production and corporate side, hiring decisions are made by the respective company. While Group Effort cannot guarantee job placement, participants are welcome to attend year-round professional development trainings to polish their application materials.

What does the program offer for participants?

Participants of the Group Effort program are eligible for:

  • Job Placement Assistance with Paid Internships, Entry-Level Job Opportunities and On-set Production Assistant (PA) Opportunities
  • Mentorships
  • Educational Workshops
